This is a somewhat lighter and finer wool construction than a heavy traditional tweed jacket. It still has the textured character associated with tweed but uses a tighter herringbone weave and is less coarse and bulky than heavyweight tweed.
Classic tailoring includes a two-button front, notch lapels, four-button cuffs, flap pockets, full burgundy/red lining and a single rear vent. The olive herringbone base combined with the blue and orange overcheck gives the jacket a classic Ivy/Trad country-sport appearance associated with The Andover Shop.
The jacket remains structurally sound, but it does have approximately 10–12 small scattered pin-tip-sized holes consistent with moth damage. There are also a few small holes in the interior lining. These flaws are photographed and reflected in the price.

I would not list the actual size as 50 just because the garment measures 50\" around the chest. The overall measurements are much more consistent with roughly a 48L jacket, particularly that 32\" body and 34\" sleeve.
