A beautiful 1970s Swedish ceiling lamp designed by Uno Dahlén for Aneta, featuring a sculptural layered construction in dark brown lacquered metal and white opal acrylic.The lamp consists of a broad, gently curved lower shade, a cylindrical central section and a rounded upper canopy, with the white opal acrylic diffuser positioned between the two dark metal elements. The diffuser can be pulled downward, allowing the intensity and character of the light to be adjusted while creating a warm, softly diffused glow. This adjustable construction is a characteristic feature of the documented Aneta version of the design.With its glossy brown finish, clean geometric proportions and contrasting luminous centre, the lamp has a distinctly 1970s Scandinavian Space Age character. The restrained silhouette also works particularly well with Swedish Modern and Mid-Century interiors.The lamp has been professionally rewired and is ready for use. It is in good vintage condition, with numerous scratches and signs of wear to the brown painted surface, as well as some scratches on the white acrylic diffuser.

To adjust the light level, gently pull or push the diffuser using only the lower section.
