A genuine vintage British Police traffic officer flip-front motorcycle helmet. This iconic piece of law enforcement history features the classic black-and-white "Sillitoe Tartan" checkered banding and a built-in communications cord used by radio operators on road patrol duty.Designed on the high-speed Nolan / Porsche Design platform of the 1980s/1990s, this is a fantastic addition to any emergency services, police memorabilia, or vintage helmet collection.Condition Report: Exterior: Very good cosmetic condition. The white gloss shell shows light signs of operational service wear but has a great shine. The checkered decals and reflective silver striping are beautifully preserved.Chin Strap & Labels: Original chin strap is intact and retains its European safety certification "E-mark" tag with inspection stamps (see photos).Interior Lining (Important Note): The interior fabric lining is intact and holds its shape for passive display. However, typical of helmets from this era, the internal open-cell foam padding is disintegrating/crumbling due to age. Sold strictly as an obsolete historical display piece.
