A beautiful and unique vintage (1993) pair of framed Southwestern petroglyph and kachina wall art panels (under glass) designed by Cleo Teissedre (Teissedre Designs Inc. Tucson, AZ.) Both pieces feature mixed-media/print panels in turquoise and copper verdigris tones with abstract, tribal figures, animals and ancient symbols. Gradient copper-turquoise wood textured lined frames with textured decorative matting surrounds each teal/turquoise panel. See photos for all the rich details. At the bottom of each panel, there is a small (cast metal; copper with an oxidized verdigris patina) decorative piece of a petroglyph-style animal (big horn sheep and eagle) housed inside a stepped, geometric cutout at bottom center of the frames matting. Both are in good vintage conditions and signed “Teissedre” on lower fronts; please note that there is some scuffs on right frame side (big horn sheep panel) and a white fleck above bottom frame (under glass) see last photos … both panels need Kraft paper backing replaced (tears.) There are white stickers adhered to backs identifying the panels as shown. Sawtooth hangers are attached to top frames for hanging. Wonderful art pieces meant to be displayed together.
