Vintage Fausto Sarli 3 Piece Fox Fur Lined Brocade Outfit Italian Designer
Calling all costume designers! All you need is a good tailor and this outfit will be spectacular again! For sizing, please see photos of measurements, and my mannequin is a size 4 for reference. The dress is a mustard gold color, and the jacket and pants have gold brocade thread.
For sale is a three-piece outfit by Fausto Sarli, a prominent Italian fashion designer that started in the 1950s. This outfit features a luxurious Fox fur-trimmed jacket with intricate brocade pattern , a matching mustard-gold color dress, and matching brocade pants.
Condition:
Jacket:-some stitching is loose where the fur attaches to the collar, and also where the fur attaches to the cuffs. All of the snaps and the button are in great condition.
Pants: the inner elastic band is loose towards the ends, needs to be tacked. There is loose fabric on the top band in the back, inside near the zipper, that needs to be tacked. The zipper is in good working order. The end of one pant leg has a zipper that works, but needs to be tacked, as the threads have popped out a few inches up.
Dress: the pictures clearly show where the pin has made some holes in the dress. The zipper has come unattached in the back. there are a couple of stains on the back of the dress, may come out? Also, one small hole towards the bottom.
This is such an amazing set, and hoping it finds the right home!
