Wonderful pair of vintage wooden snowshoes made by Floyd Westover of Gloversville, New York. These traditional snowshoes feature beautifully shaped bentwood frames with contrasting red and dark rawhide-style woven lacing, giving them excellent rustic and Adirondack decorative appeal.
Both snowshoes retain their original maker markings, including Floyd Westover, Gloversville, N.Y., along with the vintage telephone marking Dial 5-5925 and size designation 13 x 35.
The pair also retains the leather foot bindings with metal buckles and straps, adding to their authentic vintage Floyd Westover snowshoes
