It\'s 1984. You\'re sitting in a movie theater, minding your own business, when someone introduces you to an adorable little creature named Gizmo.
He\'s fluffy. He\'s precious. He makes cute little noises.
And then somebody gets him wet, feeds his friends after midnight, and suddenly the entire town is being terrorized by a collection of miniature demons with absolutely no respect for private property.
Naturally, someone at the record company looked at this situation and said, \"You know what this needs? A children\'s book.\"
And not just a book.
A RECORD.
Because nothing says wholesome family entertainment quite like sitting your child down with a 7-inch vinyl record and letting a narrator explain why the popcorn is full of gremlins.
Welcome to Gremlins-Trapped, Story 4 in the vintage Gremlin Adventures read-along collection.
This glorious little piece of 1980s nonsense includes a 16-page illustrated storybook and a 7-inch, 33⅓ RPM record featuring narration, character dialogue, sound effects, and musical backgrounds.
The cover features three gremlins causing absolute chaos in a movie theater, because apparently even fictional monsters enjoy ruining the cinematic experience for everyone else.
And the best part?
This one is STILL SEALED.
Somewhere in 1984, someone purchased this little nightmare, put it away, and never opened it.
Forty-plus years later, the gremlins are still trapped inside their original packaging.
Which, frankly, is probably for the best.
I have three children. I do not need additional creatures running around my house demanding snacks after midnight.
The original shrink wrap remains intact, the colorful illustrated cover is still looking delightfully ridiculous, and Gizmo is on the back looking entirely too innocent for someone associated with this level of destruction.
No water.
No midnight snacks.
No responsibility for whatever happens if you decide to break the seal.
