Nice vintage Hamilton men’s wristwatch, believed to be from the 1950s or 1960s. Classic design with a silver-tone dial, raised hour markers, small seconds dial, and vintage stretch expansion band. Really neat old Hamilton with a lot of character.
I purchased this watch as running and working. It does run, but after winding it, it will sometimes stop. A light tap gets it running again, and it will run for a while before stopping again. It appears to be a manual-wind mechanical watch rather than an automatic.
The watch will need servicing or repair to run reliably. I have not opened the case because I don’t have the proper tools and don’t want to risk damaging it. Selling as running but needing service, with no guarantees on accuracy or continued operation.
The stretch band is included but fits loosely where it attaches to the watch at the pins. Please look closely at the pictures. This is exactly how I received it, and I’m leaving it as is. The band may need adjusting or replacing.
Shows normal wear and aging, including some discoloration on the dial and scratches on the case and back. Still a really cool old Hamilton that would make a nice collector’s piece or restoration project.
I’ve included plenty of pictures, so please look closely at all of them for the best description of its condition.
No returns on jewelry and watches. Please review all pictures carefully and ask any questions before buying.
Thanks for looking!!
