In barely used, like new vintage condition, this beautiful Harris mane hair mecate is ready for the show ring.
I personally purchased this mecate from the Harris Leather trailer at a horse show in Raleigh, NC in 1992 or 1993 for use with a Harris bosal as pictured. (Bosal not included - mecate only.) This is the softest mecate I have ever owned, and the reason for that is that Harris made their mecates of the time with mane hair. It hangs and draped beautifully. Made from beautiful, light-colored mane hair, this mecate would be beautiful on a palomino.
It was extremely lightly-used and cared for properly. More photos available on request.
