Condition Details:

• Rod Blank: Beautiful, glossy deep-red original finish. The iconic hand-scripted "Heddon Pal #6276 Sturdy - 5 ½' Musky Special" text is completely crisp, white, and fully legible.
• Cosmetic Note: There is a small, minor finish fleck missing on the dark decal wrapper just underneath the words "Musky Special," where the red blank shows through. This is strictly cosmetic and can be seen in the close-up photos.
• Guides & Wraps: All original guides are securely seated. The classic decorative yellow/gold-accented factory thread wraps remain tight with no fraying or dry rotting.
• Detachable Handle / Reel Seat: Features the signature mid-century metallic brown die-cast Heddon Pal trigger grip with the embossed leaping bass logo. The locking ferrule mechanisms turn and tighten down smoothly.
• Cork Grip: The cork handle is exceptionally clean for its age, showing virtually no heavy thumb pitting, severe soil, or grease sink from old reels.
• Original Factory Bag: Includes the original brown canvas cloth storage bag with yellow trim. The white factory ink model stamps on the fabric remain visible.
