Vintage Hermès Paris Leather & Silver-Plated Thermos – France, circa 1990
Elegant vintage Hermès thermos flask dating to approximately the 1990s, featuring a warm tan/gold grained leather exterior with contrasting stitching and silver-plated metal fittings.
The leather is embossed “HERMÈS PARIS”, and the metal underside bears a hallmark.

The thermos was originally cataloged by the sale house as being unable to open. I have since successfully opened the inner chamber, as shown in the photos.
The removable stopper is present. Please note that the rubber/sealing material on the stopper shows age-related deterioration, cracking and wear. In addition, when the thermos is shaken, a small amount of loose material can be heard rattling somewhere within the construction/interior. I have not disassembled the thermos further to determine the source.
Because of its age and these condition issues, I am selling it primarily as a collectible/decorative Hermès object rather than guaranteeing it for modern beverage use or liquid-tight performance.
Overall cosmetic condition is attractive for its age. The leather remains quite nice, while the silver-plated portions exhibit tarnish, surface scratches, plating wear and other normal signs of age and use.
