A charming and beautiful piece in black with bright pink trim, blue indigo lining and cuffs. It has gorgeous hand embroidered panels across the front and at the waist front and back. The embroidery is very fine featuring snails, counted thread, etc. It likely dates to the middle 20th Century. Note that the front is stitched closed. It could be opened if you chose.
The condition is very good, lovingly used. The colors have faded and there is dustiness from wear along the outer edges, as pictured. It does not, however, have holes or stains.
