This is a beautiful and completely intact 12-Piece Vintage Chinese Zodiac Sake/Tea Cup Set. Crafted in the historic porcelain capital of Jingdezhen, China, this mid-to-late 20th-century set is a stunning example of hand-decorated export porcelain.Each cup is intricately hand-enameled on the exterior with a vibrant, colorful floral motif. The interiors feature a striking, brilliant heavy gold (gilt) wash that beautifully frames a central hand-painted depiction of one of the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac (Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig).
The bottoms of the cups bear the traditional four-character red stamped maker\'s mark: 景德镇制 (Jingdezhen Zhi), translating to \"Made in Jingdezhen.\"
