Vintage Leedy & Ludwig Concert King snare drum dating to approximately October 1952. The drum has the Leedy & Ludwig Elkhart, Indiana badge and an interior date stamp that appears to read 5210, consistent with October 1952.

* Approximately 15” diameter x 8” shell depth
* Natural/maple wood finish
* 8-lug configuration
* Original vintage Leedy & Ludwig hardware
* Internal adjustable muffler
* Metal hoop, a couple small dents in bottom hoop, see photos.
* Remo Weather King heads
* Vintage snare strainer and snare wires are present
* Snare wires are currently installed and functional
The drum has been preserved in good vintage condition with normal age-related wear, finish marks, and some oxidation/wear to the chrome hardware. The shell has a very attractive natural amber/maple appearance.
The date stamp is somewhat difficult to read, but appears to be 5210, which would indicate October 1952. Model identification is based on the drum’s size, hardware, badge, and comparison with documented Leedy & Ludwig Concert King drums.
Please examine all photos carefully for the overall cosmetic condition. This is a vintage instrument and is being sold in its existing condition.
