Beautiful vintage Swedish ceramic three-arm candelabra designed by Märta Grunditz for Guldkroken Hjo, dating to the 1970s.
This distinctive sculptural design features a vibrant glossy red glaze and flowing, organic curves characteristic of Scandinavian Modern / Space Age design. Often referred to as the “Tree” candle stand, its sculptural form makes a striking display piece even when not in use.
This is the compact miniature version of the design, measuring approximately 4” tall and 4.5” wide. The candle openings are sized for slim taper/chime-style candles.

Attribution
The base is unmarked. The piece has been examined by an antique/vintage appraiser and authenticated as a Märta Grunditz for Guldkroken Hjo design. Unmarked examples are known, as Guldkroken commonly used paper/foil labels rather than incised or stamped marks, and these labels could be lost over time.
Condition
Excellent preowned vintage condition. There is one small dark spot on the top of the center candle holder, along with a few additional small dark spots within the interior areas of the candle holders. These are minor, do not distract from the overall aesthetic, and the interior spots are not visible when displayed with candles in place.
There is also minimal normal wear to the unglazed base from contact with surfaces. No chips, cracks, or other major imperfections identified or observed. The glossy red glaze remains vibrant and presents beautifully. Please review all photos carefully for condition and details.
