Vintage MCM Table Lamp Polished Cast Aluminum Black Base Modernist 26\" For Sale

Offered for your consideration is a striking restored mid-century modern table lamp featuring an original heavy cast-aluminum tapered column with a beautiful polished finish.

The sculptural aluminum column has a clean, architectural form characteristic of mid-century modern design, tapering dramatically from its broad base to the socket. The lamp has been restored and updated with a new black base, polished nickel-finish socket, and black linen shade. The combination of polished aluminum, black, and nickel gives the lamp a handsome, understated modernist appearance while retaining its original vintage centerpiece.

The base measures 6\" in diameter. The cast-aluminum column measures approximately 5\" in diameter at the bottom and tapers to 1-13/16\" at the top.

The lamp measures 16\" from the bottom of the base to the top of the aluminum column and approximately 26\" to the top of the harp. The black linen shade has a slight taper and measures approximately 12\" in diameter at the top, 14\" at the bottom, and 10\" high.

The lamp and shade will be carefully wrapped and shipped in two separate boxes to help ensure their safe arrival.
