Millard Owen Sheets(1907-1989)was an American artist, teacher, and architectural designer. He was one of the earliest of the California Scene Painting artists and helped define the art movement. He created a famous mid-century series of watercolor paintings, travel posters and calendar illustrations for United Airlines.These prominent works highlighted popular U.S. and vacation destinations served by the airline from the early 1950s through the 1960s.

This print has some minor discoloration from age along the outer edges of the paper, but otherwise is in excellent condition. It measures 16\" x 12\" on the outer edge.
