Nasum formed in Örebro, Sweden in the early 1990s and became one of the most important European grindcore bands of their era. Their music combined grindcore, hardcore punk and death metal, with releases including Inhale/Exhale, Human 2.0, Helvete and Shift. The band was centred around Mieszko Talarczyk and Anders Jakobson and became closely associated with the international extreme punk and metal scene.
