Beautiful 3-piece vintage mid-century modern hospitality set from the Noritake Versatone line in the rare and highly collectible \"Orient Akaye\" pattern (Code 350W30). RARE - hard to find - estate treasure!
Produced from 1979 to 1982. Made in Japan. This smooth, white ceramic set features striking Japanese folk-art style panels decorated with rich rust-red/iron-red floral motifs, vibrant blue geometric details, and a distinct bold red band accenting the borders. The set includes:
- (1) Sake Carafe / Small Pitcher: Measures approximately 4.5 inches tall. Fully backstamped with the pattern code \"Orient Akaye 350W30\".
- (2) Matching Round Salt & Pepper Shakers: Feature the identical floral panel pattern. Marked on the bases simply as \"Versatone by Noritake\" (original stoppers included).
All 3 pieces are in pristine, excellent vintage condition with absolutely no chips, cracks, crazing, or signs of hard wear. The glaze is glossy and the colors remain beautifully bright. A gorgeous, functional addition to any Mid-Century Asian or retro kitchen collection, or perfect replacement pieces for expanding an active service.
