Vintage Norton Diamond Hones D220 & D400 L.S. Starrett Machinist Tool Lot
Interesting vintage assortment of precision sharpening and machinist tools, housed together in a wooden slide-top box.
Included in this vintage lot:
• Two vintage Norton Diamond Hones in their original reddish-brown leather protective pouches
• One Norton Hone marked "D220 V 1/16"
• One Norton Hone marked "D400 V 1/16"
• Both tools clearly marked "NORTON HONE"
• L.S. Starrett steel pocket rule marked "L.S. STARRETT, ATHOL, MASS." and "TEMPERED NO. 4"
• Starrett rule has engraved initials on the opposite side, along with fractional measurements
• Three small machinist/needle files, including one marked “4 XF” on one side and “NICHOLSON – USA” on the other
• One small, round metal piece, approximately 1/4" long; purpose unknown
• Small L-shaped hex/Allen key
• Vintage wooden slide-top storage box
