Vintage Paolo Soleri Cosanti Bronze Wind Bell Chime "Temple of Understanding" Sanctuary Signed PS MCM Deluxe Multi-Strike
Description: Up for sale is an authentic, highly collectible vintage Paolo Soleri bronze figural windbell assembly, cast at the Cosanti/Arcosanti foundries in Arizona.
This rare variation features the "Temple of Understanding" (Sanctuary) figural top plate depicting a stylized robed figure cradling a child, with the word "Sanctuary" embossed along the dress robe.
Deluxe Dual-Striker Assembly: This premium model includes the rarer, fully complete external swinging striker arm and weighted ball suspended from the figure's outstretched hand. As the bell sways in the wind, it creates a unique multi-strike acoustic ring alongside the internal clapper.
Hallmark: Clearly stamped with Paolo Soleri’s signature blocky "P.S." artist mark directly on the top plate above the right foot.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, untouched, organically weathered green/blue verdigris patina from outdoor display. No structural damage, cracks, or repairs.
Completeness: 100% complete with all original parts intact: the figural mission top plate, the external swinging pendulum striker, the multi-pronged bronze inner clapper, and the original triangular sheet-metal wind sail fin at the bottom.
