Vintage Postwar Lionel #221 United States Marine Corps (USMC) Alco Diesel Locomotive. This is a rare, uncatalouged military engine from the early 1960s.Details:

• Testing: This locomotive is being sold strictly UNTESTED as I do not have a track or transformer setup to test it.
• Mechanical Status: The wheels do not roll when pushed, which is normal and correct for this model\'s worm-gear motor configuration (the gears are locked in place by the motor design and are not stripped).
• Factory Features: This specific economy promotional edition was manufactured by Lionel from the factory without a headlight bulb/assembly and without an E-unit directional switch. There is no lever coming through the roof slot, which is completely original and correct for this factory forward-only variation. No loose parts are rattling inside.
• Cosmetic Condition: \"The plastic body shell is in good vintage condition with bright graphics and normal signs of age/handling. A few scuffs on the plastic and a series of small \"marks\" along the part of the metal frame that is visible on the side of the body No major cracks or breaks. The small \"dent\" on the top in front is just an artifact of the molding process, I do believe.
