Important compatibility information
According to the original included notice:
* Intended for Ruger Mark I and Mark II pistols
* Will not work with Pachmayr grips
* Will not directly work with solid wood factory or aftermarket grips
* May not directly work with some original Ruger solid-plastic grips
* Solid grips must be routed or relieved to provide clearance for the thumb-release mechanism
* The supplied shorter screw is used for the lower-left grip position
