Description
Offered here is a vintage Skilcraft Visible Trout Anatomically Accurate Model Kit, Kit No. 74634, in new open-box, unused and complete condition. This educational plastic model allows the builder to assemble a detailed transparent trout showing the fish’s skeletal structure, internal organs and anatomical systems.
This example has never been assembled. The box has been opened for inspection and photography, and I carefully checked the contents. The kit is complete. No pieces are missing, and none of the model pieces are broken. A few of the smaller plastic components have simply separated from their original sprues / parts trees during storage and movement of the box. This is normal with older model kits and does not indicate damage; the detached pieces are present and intact.
Included are the molded trout body sections, transparent outer body pieces, detailed fish skeleton, ribs, vertebrae, fins, internal organ components, eyes, anatomical parts, display stand/base, original assembly instructions and “The Visible Trout – A Guide to Understanding Their Anatomy” booklet. The original Skilcraft box is also included.
The finished model pictured on the box measures approximately 16 inches long by 5 inches tall, based on other examples of Skilcraft kit #74634. An record for the same kit also identifies it as a 16\" x 5\" plastic model.
