Vintage SunTour Cyclone rear derailleur for classic road and touring bicycles using a hanger/claw style mount.
Cage Type: Short Cage.
Derailleur uses an aluminum alloy body with silver finish, black pulley wheels, and a cast outer cage with arched cutouts. The outer link carries a black 'SunTour Cyclone' nameplate, and the upper and lower knuckles are stamped 'SUN TOUR PATENT' around the bolt heads.
The inner arm is stamped 'MAEDA INDUSTRIES, LTD JAPAN TK'.

Vintage SunTour Cyclone rear derailleur with cosmetic wear and road grime from prior use. Silver finish shows numerous scratches, small nicks, dulling, and scattered oxidation on alloy surfaces and hardware. Pulley wheels are worn with heavy chain grease and debris but still turn. Derailleur articulates by hand but has not been tested on a bike; cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment are recommended.
