For sale is a freshly rebuilt, SunTour Superbe Tech long cage rear derailleur.
Let me say that I have disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, buffed, oiled/lubed probably hundreds of derailleurs. And this one, I figured, was no exception. But, have you ever opened one of these up? If not, let me warn you not to. They are more complex than you think and reassembly was another level of challenging. This was certainly one of the most complicated rear derailleurs I have had the pleasure of working on but I am delighted how it came out. It is in excellent overall working condition with jockey wheels spinning smoothly, springs tight and pivots crisp and oiled, ready to ride.
One note on this is that the \"Superbe Tech\" logo came off during the buffing process. There is a ghostly hue of it that still remains looking carefully, but it isn\'t prominent any longer without getting inches away. Personally, I like the debadged look more as the screenprinting on these failed often and immediately, which looks awful when it\'s just partially there. If it doesn\'t perfect, you might as well just remove it, is how I see it.
