Very interesting Indonesian shawl, I am not an expert in these, found at estate sale!but it is very obviously like others from this time and area in Indonesia
The only difference on mine is the satin fabric attached at both ends in a wide strip before the fringe
There are no stains rips or holes on the weaving, just some minor wear of age, but the main \"flaw\" if you will isthat there is newspaper batting stitched on to the backside of the red satin ends.
I find this kind of neat in itself, but please check out the photos to decide for yourself :)
