We are offering this scarce, hand incised signature tile / plaque by VIVIKA & OTTO HEINO. This is is from our original collection and has been displayed only. It is an original piece of stoneware made by Otto and Vivika Heino to celebrate the 10th open house of The Studio on McKendree in Ojai, CA. This great home and studio was purchased from their famed friend and artist, Beatrice Woods. It was a great place to visit and buy great ceramics, all our collection of their ceramics, including this one, was purchased directly from the Heinos at their shop at the studio. This piece is made of stoneware and decorated in deep earthtones with a couple of small flowers and a bit of dark blue. Matte finish. Measures approximately 3-1/2”. It is in excellent condition - no chips, nicks, nor damage nor repairs. It is hand signed on the back (looks like Vivika’s writing?), “10th Open House ~Vivika & Otto ~ 1983”
