Attractive vintage American silverplate tray manufactured by W. & S. Blackinton Co., Meriden, Connecticut.
This beautifully detailed round tray features an elaborate engraved floral and leaf design across the center, with a finely stippled background. The decorative perimeter includes a pierced openwork gallery, beaded inner border, and ornate rope or shell-style outer rim.
The tray stands on three original feet and has an elegant decorative appearance suitable for display, entertaining, or use as a vanity, dresser, or tabletop accent.
