Vintage WWI WWII Military Sweetheart Pins Lot Son In Service Blue Star U.S.:
$74.99
Vintage mixed WWI and WWII U.S. military family support and sweetheart pin lot including an early WWI crossed rifles “U.S.” pin with single blue star shield (1917–1918), a rare WWI era laminated celluloid “Son In Service” heart dangle sweetheart pin with original banner, and a WWII blue enamel “Mothers of Men / Moms of America In Service” homefront support pin (1940s). These pins were worn by family members to honor sons serving in the armed forces and reflect the Blue Star service banner tradition begun during WWI. The large heart example is a scarcer early composition piece and the highlight of the group. All pieces remain in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and intact enamel and components. See photos for details.
