Charming vintage framed landscape artwork by Walldecor, featuring an old-world pastoral scene with a heavily crackled/craquelure-style finish for an aged appearance.
The artwork is surrounded by an olive green mat with a metallic gold inner border and set in an ornate dimensional leaf-pattern frame with an antiqued gold and dark brown/black finish.
The frame appears to be a molded/composition-style decorative material over a rigid frame base rather than hand-carved wood.
Approximate measurements:
* Overall frame: 10” wide x 8” high
* Visible artwork: approximately 7 1/4” x 4 3/4”–5”
Back retains the original Walldecor paper covering and label marked “P1015 Gold Ant.”
Condition:
Vintage/preowned condition with age-related wear. There are areas of finish loss, small chips and imperfections to the ornate frame, including a small exposed area at one corner. The crackled appearance over the artwork appears intentional and is part of the aged decorative finish. Please review all photos closely, as they are part of the description.
A great small accent piece for a dark academia, Victorian revival, old-world, cottagecore, maximalist or gallery wall display.
