Up for sale is a stunning, collector-grade vintage Chinoiserie porcelain table lamp assembled by the Wescal Manufacturing Company. The heavy porcelain vase body was manufactured as a fine white ceramic blank in Japan and then intricately hand-painted with thick, textured enamel work at the renowned Arts China Factory (ACF) in Hong Kong during the mid-to-late 1970s export boom.
The hand-decorated design features a traditional Chinese Phoenix (Fenghuang) surrounded by vibrant blooming chrysanthemums and lotus flowers, representing grace and longevity. The lamp body is beautifully mounted on custom, dark-stained solid wood base and top caps. It features its original, matching solid brass longevity symbol finial at the top.
This piece was originally sold at the high-end Homestead House showroom in Broomfield, Colorado, and still retains its original foil retail sticker. It is wired with premium, UL-listed American Leviton hardware.
Condition Report:
Pristine vintage condition. There are absolutely zero chips, cracks, structural repairs, or crazing anywhere on the porcelain body. The hand-painted enamel artwork remains incredibly vibrant with no paint loss or fading. The wooden base and cap are structurally sound with no deep scratches or dry rot. The original wiring and Leviton turn-knob switch have been fully tested and work perfectly.
Please note that a lightbulb and lampshade are not included with this listing. The lamp features its original red circular authentication stamp on the bottom of the porcelain vessel, which is clearly photographed for your verification.
