Up for sale/sale is a phenomenal piece of vintage baseball memorabilia: an original hand-signed black-and-white photo postcard featuring Detroit Tigers legend and 1968 World Series Champion, Willie Horton.
This piece was captured by the legendary sports photographer J.D. McCarthy (8441 Northfield, Oak Park, Mich. address printed on the back) and shows Horton on one knee holding his bat on the field.
The front of the postcard features a beautifully clear inscription in blue ink that reads:
"Always, Best Wishes, Willie Horton"
