Vintage c1975 17 jewels Bulova automatic watch in excellent working condition For Sale

Over the coming months I will beselling a collection of impressive vintage American watches, mostly Bulova but with some Elgin, Gruen, Benrus and other vintage brands.This is an automatic model, similar in design to Bulova\'s early -1970s \"President\" range. I have not been able to identify the specific model name. It is an eye-catching design that looks great on the wrist. This model is housed in an unusual ovaloid case with a silvered sweep second hand on a silver clean cut dial and with a day and date window at the 3.00 position. The fashionable large profile of the watch makes it is as stylish and \"current\" now as it was when first worn in the 1970s, The excellent 17 jewel automatic “11AOACB\" in-house movement is housed in a stainless steel case. Whilst the watch has minor usage marks which add character and are to be expected on a circa 50 year old watch, overall it is in very good condition. The original factory-fitted dial has 5 minute silver and black baton markers and all 3 hands are in very good original condition The watch has a clear crystal, free of any significant scratches.It is 38mm long (from the lug tips) and 36mm wide, excluding the original Bulova-signed crown. It is complemented by a used, but serviceable black leather strap and looksvery stylish on the wrist.
The watch has been keeping good time over the 48 hours that I\'ve been testing it and the day date features are in good working order.
