Vintage c1975 Relios 925 Sterling Pink Coral Pendant Necklace 20\" Italy For Sale

We’re offering this beautiful circa-1975 vintage Relios .925 sterling silver pendant, featuring a substantial oval salmon-pink cabochon and a sculptural sterling silver setting. We’ve paired the pendant with an 18\" Italian 925 sterling silver chain to create a complete, ready-to-wear necklace.

The pendant is signed with the distinctive Relios crescent/R hallmark and .925 sterling mark. Relios was the Albuquerque, New Mexico jewelry manufacturer associated with Carolyn Pollack and later American West jewelry. We are identifying this piece as Relios, rather than specifically as a Carolyn Pollack design, because we do not see a separate CP signature.

The centerpiece is a large approximately 25 × 19 mm (1\" × 3/4\") oval pink cabochon. Based on its opaque salmon-pink color, substantial thickness and fine irregular surface structure, we believe the stone is natural pink coral.

We especially like the construction of this pendant. Four sweeping prongs frame the cabochon, while the large split V-shaped sterling bail gives it a distinctive Southwestern circa 1975 / late 20th century
