Antique 1912 The Reference Passage Bible – New Testament, compiled by I. N. Johns and published by The Alpha Publishing Co., Lincoln, Nebraska.
This beautiful 114-year-old Bible features a black leather-bound cover with gold lettering, decorative raised spine bands, indexed thumb tabs, and colored/gilt-style page edges. The front cover is personalized in gold with “Mother Ethel Daddy.”
The Bible shows significant age-related wear, especially to the leather binding. The leather is heavily worn, flaking, and separating along portions of the edges and corners, as shown in the photos. Pages show normal toning, spotting, and age wear. Despite the exterior condition, the interior remains quite impressive for its age.
A wonderful piece for a Bible collector, Christian history collection, antique book display, genealogy collection, or religious décor.
