Up for sale is a beautiful vintage envelope style lingerie/hosiery bag/pouch dating from the 1940s-1950s. (it was my mom\'s) This charming boudoir accessory features a smooth elegant satin fabric in a peach/pink color tone. It has simple detailed leaf quilting along the front flap that is highlighted by using the \"trapunto\" technique for a raised 3D affect. It closes by means of a covered button and matching loop. The whole piece is padded. The measurements (closed) are 8\" X 8\"
The fabric has a classic vintage satin sheen that may reflect light differently depending on the camera angle, but it is NOT stained. Please note that due to the age there may be some minor but uniform fading, but the shade remains consistent. It may be that a slightly different color was used for the lining. The difference is very subtle, but I did want to point it out
