Vintage 1950s Japanese Bottle Brush Christmas Tree - 9\" Tall
Rare Mixed-Media Design with Mercury Glass Beads, Millinery Fruit & Pinecone
Beautiful, highly collectible mid-century vintage bottle brush Christmas tree. Made in Japan during the 1950s/1960s, this 9-inch tree is a fantastic example of high-quality holiday Putz village decor.
This tree features a rare, heavily decorated style combining several classic vintage elements on one gorgeous piece!
Features miniature vintage mercury glass ball beads & mini beaded garland, colorful faux millinery berries/fruit, and a small pinecone.
Vibrant deep green bristles heavily tipped with white snow flocking and heavily accented with brilliant copper/gold mica glitter flakes.
Mounted securely on its original round wood block base, which features a crisp, legible \"JAPAN\" stamp on the bottom.
Excellent vintage condition given its age! The bristles are full and shape well. The faux fruit components are intact with vibrant color, the pinecone is securely attached, mercury beads in tact with some normal discoloration, or patine associated with age. There is one that appears broken.
No major balding or structural issues.
Please review all photos closely to appreciate the excellent cosmetic condition of this piece!

Perfect for adding a pop of authentic mid-century charm to your holiday mantel or Putz village display 😊
