You are looking at a gorgeous vintage Copeland Spode England Spode's Rembrandt pedestal comport — also called a tazza or footed compote. Pattern S 2580, Reg No 873466 (1920s-1930s).
This is the SHALLOW BOWL form, not a flat cake plate. The bowl itself is gently dished — about 1.5" - 2" deep inside — with a 10" diameter top and standing 4.5" tall on a pedestal foot. Perfect as a fruit bowl, centerpiece, candy/nut dish, or for display. The photos show the shallow profile clearly.
Beautiful multicolor floral bouquet with plum, blue and red roses — great chintz look. Floral spray on foot.
