This was signed at Irving Plaza in NYC in November 1997. Deftones headlined, and Limp Bizkit were support. This is a time capsule if there ever was one. Honestly, one of the best shows of my youth. This was signed backstage before the show started, because I knew after the show would be a trainwreck. This was the shirt I wore to the show. I had them sign it, held on to it for dear life while shirtless in the pit, and literally took the train home shirtless. Ah, the joys of youth and doing ridiculous things. Chino was so wasted even before the show that it took him several minutes to even get a scribble in because he couldn’t hold the shirt still.
The shirt is a rare, authentic, fully licensed Deftones shirt from the Around The Fur era.

Chino Moreno attempted to sign the shirt next to Fred. He got his signature started but was extremely wasted and couldn’t manage to complete his signature because the shirt kept moving. So 20% of his signature is there.
The shirt was not signed by Sam Rivers or Abe Cunningham as they were not there at that time.
The shirt itself is a size XL and was pre-owned. If the shirt did not have the signature, I would say it’s in Very Good vintage condition (no holes or cosmetic issues).
I did not do anything to make the shirt “look better” like wash it or use de-wrinkle things. I am presenting this piece as authentically as possible. I had this framed and displayed in my office for the last several decades. It’s now time to go to a new home.
