Today’s offering is a lovely pair of framed romantic prints after Harrison Fisher, one of the best-known American illustrators of the early 20th century.

Story
This is a charming pair of oval framed lithograph prints featuring romantic and theatrical scenes illustrated by Harrison Fisher (1875–1934). Fisher was celebrated for his elegant portrayals of fashionable men and women and became one of the most recognizable illustrators of the Edwardian era.

The left print is identified as “Private Theatricals,” associated with Louise Imogen Guiney and illustrated by Harrison Fisher. It shows a staged or costumed romantic interaction with figures dressed in period attire, including a seated couple in conversation and a standing figure in the background.

The right print is an antique 1907 Harrison Fisher lithograph showing a stylish colonial or courtship scene, with a seated woman and a gentleman leaning in beside her on a bench.
