Up for sale is a spectacular, rare, and oversized vintage Mid-Century Modern ceramic table lamp base manufactured by Sunset Cosco. This massive statement piece features an incredible multi-toned drip glaze base beautifully accented with a hand-painted silver overlay silhouette pattern of running gazelles/rams.
With a huge 49-inch circumference (15.6" diameter) and measuring 22 inches tall to the top of the ceramic pottery neck, this lamp offers incredible presence and serves as a perfect anchor piece for any atomic, Hollywood Regency, or MCM living space. Please note: This listing is for the lamp base and brass harp only; a lampshade is NOT included. For safer and cheaper shipping, the metal harp wire will be carefully unclipped and packed alongside the ceramic body.
Condition Report:
- Overall Condition: The lamp is in overall great vintage shape, remains structurally sound, and displays beautifully.
- Specific Details: Please refer carefully to all provided photos for exact condition. There is a little bit of crazing in the glaze finish consistent with age, and one tiny little mark located up near the top neck area. The power cord features its original vintage ribbed plug and shows some fraying/wear at the plug housing base, as pictured.
