This Is An Excellent Example From The Highly Collectible WWE Classic Superstars Line, Featuring The Legendary Iron Sheik In His Classic WWE Presentation. Released In 2004, This Figure Remains Factory Sealed And Has Never Been Removed From Its Original Packaging, Making It An Excellent Choice For Collectors Looking For A Vintage, Signed Classic Superstars Figure That Has Been Preserved As Issued.
SIGNING HISTORY & PROVENANCE
The Iron Sheik Was A Featured Guest At The Legends Of The Ring Pro Wrestling Convention In Carteret, New Jersey, During The Early Years Of The Popular Convention Series. Following His WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Earlier That Spring, He Appeared For Fans, Participating In Photo Opportunities And Signing A Large Volume Of Memorabilia For Collectors Who Traveled From Throughout The Tri-State Area To Meet Him.
This Particular Classic Superstars Figure Was Personally Signed By Iron Sheik At The Convention In 2005, Providing Excellent Direct Signing Provenance For This Example.
A STANDOUT CLASSIC SUPERSTARS COLLECTOR’S PIECE
The Iron Sheik’s Autograph Is Prominently Presented On The Original Packaging And Remains Completely Legible And Easily Identifiable. As Expected With A Signature That Was Applied More Than 21 Years Ago, The Ink Has Naturally Become Somewhat Fainter Over Time, But The Autograph Remains Clear And Readable.
The Signature Has That Instantly Recognizable Iron Sheik Personality To It, And The “USA #1” Inscription Is A Particularly Fitting Touch That Feels Completely True To His Larger-Than-Life Character.
Adding Even More Significance To This Example Is The 2005 Date, Which Places The Signing In The Same Year Iron Sheik Was Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame. Having His Signature, “USA #1” Inscription, And A 2005 Date All Together On A Factory-Sealed Classic Superstars Figure Makes This A Particularly Fun And Historically Meaningful Example For Collectors.
The Original Packaging Remains In Really Great Collector-Quality Condition, With Only Minor Signs Of Age, Handling, And Storage Consistent With A Figure That Has Been Preserved For More Than Two Decades. Overall, This Is A Very Appealing Example That Brings Together Iron Sheik’s Classic Superstars Figure, A Genuine Period Autograph, And A Significant Year In His Career All On One Piece.
The Exact Factory-Sealed Figure Pictured Is The One You Will Receive. This Is An Excellent Addition For Collectors Of WWE Classic Superstars, Iron Sheik, WWE Hall Of Fame Memorabilia, Signed Action Figures, Autographed Wrestling Memorabilia, And Vintage WWE Collectibles.
