This is an original, production-exclusive CREW shirt issued strictly to WWE staff and production personnel for the Vengeance Pay-Per-View on July 21, 2002, held live at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Because these were local staff-only issues, they were never sold to the public.
This historic night featured one of the greatest Triple Threat main events in history, where The Rock captured the WWE Undisputed Championship from The Undertaker in a match that also included Kurt Angle. The undercard also featured Hollywood Hulk Hogan teaming with Edge, and Brock Lesnar challenging Rob Van Dam.
This shirt is from the immediate post-WWF name change era (the company rebranded in May 2002, just two months prior). It features a clean, minimalist WWE Crew print on the front left chest, and the massive red Vengeance "V" logo on the reverse side.

The shirt is in good, structurally sound vintage condition with zero pinholes, loose seams, or dry rot. The fabric is a solid black with excellent weight, and the screen prints on both the front and back are incredibly bright with fantastic ink retention.
Please note: There are light, localized surface marks and foxing on the black fabric on the back of the shirt, located near the date print and mid-back. We have left this shirt unwashed and untreated to completely preserve the original vintage integrity of the plastisol ink. This is a very easy clean for any experienced collector, but we have priced the shirt lower to reflect this minor cosmetic detail.
