Rare vintage Wedgwood creamware commemorative mug designed by renowned British designer Keith Murray, dating to approximately 1935. This striking Art Deco piece features Murray’s distinctive angular form with an octagonal pedestal base and D-shaped handle.
One side displays a detailed transfer-printed view of Worcester Cathedral, while the reverse features the coat of arms of the City of Worcester with the Latin motto Civitas In Bello Et Pace Fidelis. The underside bears the green Wedgwood backstamp with KM (Keith Murray) above the Wedgwood mark and Made in England.
A highly collectible example of Keith Murray’s celebrated Wedgwood designs, sought after by collectors of British pottery, Art Deco, and commemorative ceramics.
