🎤 About The Album:
Pinkerton is Weezer's second studio album, originally released October 1, 1996 on DGC Records. A polarizing release at the time — dismissed by critics and considered a commercial disappointment — the album has long been canonized as one of rock music's greatest cult classics. Rivers Cuomo described it as "two very weird years" of his life — the lyrics lifted directly from his journals dissecting confessional tales of lust, intimacy and loneliness. Featuring El Scorcho, The Good Life, Tired of Sex and Across the Sea — Pinkerton is widely regarded as one of the defining alternative rock albums of the 1990s and one of the most emotionally raw and honest records ever made.
Perfect for Weezer fans, Rivers Cuomo fans, alternative rock collectors, IVC collectors, RTI pressed vinyl audiophiles and serious rock vinyl collectors.
