Priced to sell.
Bought it for a buck….
So…..
West German made vintage ratchet screwdriver.
With original blue case, a rarity….
Slot screw head.
Fine condition.
Appears to work, but, not rigorously tested.
Deep red translucent composite handle. It’s a beaut.
Competitively priced.
It appears that originally a thin, nondescript “temporary” plastic label might have been affixed to a recessed portion on both sides of the handle, per comparison to another similar ratchet being marketed … although the name of Weltrecord on this gem is deeply and crisply engraved in the metal support frame and the country of origin is embossed on its very rare surviving case.
Just purchased … for a song.
1 buck !
From an online estate sale of an impressive local car collector’s car and miscellaneous tool collection inventory. See the copy of our listed receipt of purchase and a photo of a vehicle or two from his vintage car collection.
Neat provenance.
