The overall length is 13.75\" and fits most all standard barrels in the mossberg and remington family. The front bracket s are malleable and multiple sets of hardware are included to accomodate different barrel girths.
As with most gun parts, this shield is meant to be pinched and molded to fit your barrels geometry. On some weapons, the center stabilizer tabs can be folded, cinched and even filed-off to fit your guns (and forend) contours. Fits stock on MOST guns listed, some guns may need minor fitting.
