This one-of-a-kind handmade Folk Art "Gill's Circus" is an elaborate and colorful creation. Someone's father or grandfather took a very long time building and painting this circus. Each individual piece is a work of art that has been carefully thought out. I have always admired the German Schoenhut Circus, but the workmanship and creativity involved in crafting Gill's Circus is mind boggling. The hand painted lettering and art work is beautiful. The circus is in very good condition with only a few minor flaws. Two of the animal wagon doors need to be reassembled with one missing the metal bars. The largest circus wagon is 7 inches by 12 inches and the smallest is 4 1/2 inches by 6 inches. The height ranges from 5 inches to 8 inches tall. This is some of the best Folk Art I have ever had in my 45 years in the antique business. The shipping weight for this item is around 22 lbs. The box size will be 21 x 21 x 20 inches which will be shipped by UPS Ground.
