( One of the best looking vises I have ever seen for being PRE-OWNED. )THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS DRILL VISE. IT PERFORMS PERFECTLY. THERE IS ZERO DAMAGE. THE JAWS DO NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE JAWS INCLUDED ARE THE ORIGINAL JAWS WHICH ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (NO TOOL MARKS, NO WORN AREAS). JUST A LITTLE BIT OF SOME FADED PAINT OR LIGHT SCUFFS. BUT NOTHING MORE. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RUST AND IT HAS BEEN VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF. IT HAS NEVER SEEN ANY TYPE OF ABUSE AND IT IS VERY WELL LUBRICATED.
USED / PRE-OWNED, Remains in WONDERFUL condition. Fully functional. Swivel action is very smooth. The locking lever bar mechanism works great. This is a awesome drill vise. It has only minor scratches and only lightly faded paint. There are hardly any tool marks. THE BLUE COLOR IS THE FACTORY ORIGINAL PAINT. Overall…it’s still a very great working super good looking high quality drill press vise. The drill press vise is spectacular shape for its age and it does not need its jaws replaced. The set of jaws that are on it are in great condition still. The factory jaws that is on them now have a vee notch cut vertically and horizontally for precision alignment of parts being worked on.The operating screw has absolutely zero damage on the threads as it moves very smoothly and freely.It’s mounted onto a 360 degree swivel base with locknut and the locknut is attached to a lever which makes it very easy to work with. The base is unique in that it mounts to the jaw that would typically move (dynamic jaw) and makes the stationary jaw move instead. This vise is so much better than a stationary drill vise. You can also slide the vise right off the swivel base for more clearance when drilling. YOST VISES or YOST TOOLSdid a great job manufacturing this little drill vise. I noticed online that this model (#1104) was sold out and hard to find making this vise a little rare.
